Command Description Usage
/gem Manage player gems (view, add, remove, set). /gem – shows your balance.
/gem give – give gems.
/gem take – take gems.
/gem set – set exact amount.
/shop Open the gem shop GUI or manage shop entries (admin).
/shop – opens the shop for you.
/shop reload – reloads shop configuration (admin).
/shop add – add a new shop item (admin).
/shop remove – remove an item (admin).
Tab‑completion is provided for player names, sub‑commands and item IDs.
Permissions Permission What it Allows gemeconomy.use Use /gem and open the shop (/shop). gemeconomy.admin All admin sub‑commands (`/gem give Configuration (config.yml) starting-gems – Amount of gems a new player receives. max-gems – Optional hard cap for a player's gem balance. shop-items – List of shop entries: each entry defines the material, amount, display name, lore and gem price. messages – All user‑facing messages (prefix, errors, success texts) are configurable. Key Features Persistent Gem Storage – Gem balances are saved to a flat file (or SQLite) and reloaded on server start. PlaceholderAPI Support – %gemeconomy_gems% (player's gem count) and %gemeconomy_rank% (optional rank placeholder). Shop GUI – Interactive inventory that shows available items, prices, and handles purchase logic (deducts gems, gives the item). Dynamic Shop Management – Admins can edit shop items without restarting the server via /shop add / /shop remove. Economy Integration – Other plugins can query or modify balances through the provided GemManager API. Textures / Models Uses standard Minecraft item textures; no custom models or resource packs are required.
