Turn player deaths into cooperative adventures! VengeanceVow is a highly engaging, fully localized survival utility plugin that introduces a unique gameplay mechanic: when a player is killed by a monster, a rescue mission is declared. Other players can accept the mission to hunt down the killer (now a glowing, protected Nemesis mob), rescue their friend's soul, and claim XP rewards.

⚡ Core Features

• Interactive Death Broadcasts: When a player dies, a server-wide announcement with clickable [ACCEPT] and [REJECT] buttons is sent.
• Vengeance Missions: Accepting a mission starts a 15-minute countdown (tracked with a neat BossBar) to hunt down the Nemesis mob.
• Dynamic XP Rewards: The rescuer receives 5% of the dead player's pre-death XP as a reward upon success.
  • If keepInventory is enabled: 5% of the dead player's XP is safely sacrificed for their rescuer upon success. The dead player loses no XP if the mission fails/times out.
  • If keepInventory is disabled: The dead player never loses XP. However, if the mission has been accepted by a rescuer and fails/times out, the rescuer who accepted the mission loses 5% of the dead player's XP as a penalty.
• Anti-Sabotage & Safety Checks:
  • Only the assigned rescuer (and the dead player) can damage the Nemesis. Other players cannot steal the kill.
  • Environmental protections keep the Nemesis from burning in daylight (CombustEvent protection).
  • If the Nemesis dies from environmental sources (lava, falling) or the rescuer logs out, the mission is safely cancelled with no penalty.
• Self-Revenge: The dead player can fight and kill their own killer to successfully close the mission without any penalties.
• Full Internationalization: Out-of-the-box support for English, Turkish, German, Spanish, and Russian. The plugin dynamically sends translations based on each player's Minecraft client language!
• bStats Integration: Built-in lightweight metrics reporting to track plugin usage.

🎮 Commands & Permissions

All players need the vengeancevow.use permission to interact with the plugin, and admins need vengeancevow.admin to manage it.

🌐 Dynamic Localization

The plugin automatically detects the client language. You can customize the language files inside the plugins/VengeanceVow/lang/ folder. Default files:
