Create stunning particle wormhole portals with tear-open animations, configurable colors, bidirectional travel, and per-player permissions.

Overview

Wormholes lets you create beautiful, animated particle portals and link them together as a travel network. Inspired by Solo Leveling's iconic gates, each portal features 7 layers of particle effects, a dramatic 3-second tear-open animation, and 8 color themes to choose from.

Walk into one portal and get teleported to its linked partner — it's that simple.

Features

Particle Portals

Every portal is rendered with 7 layers of particle effects running at 20 TPS:

• Dense void fill with depth illusion
• Spinning inner energy rings (3 counter-rotating rings)
• Glowing outer edge with shimmer
• Energy tendrils reaching outward
• Ground energy cracks beneath the portal
• Ambient floating particles
• Random lightning flashes

Opening Animation

Portals don't just appear — they tear open over 3 dramatic seconds:

1. Spark (0–1s) — A bright point of light crackles with energy
2. Tear (1–2s) — A vertical rift rips open with sparks flying off the edges
3. Expand (2–3s) — The rift widens into the full portal with shockwave rings
4. Burst (3s) — Massive particle explosion with dramatic sound effects

Portals cannot be used until the animation completes.

Wormhole Travel

Link any two portals together with a single command. Travel is bidirectional — walk into Portal A, appear at Portal B, and vice versa. Exit points are offset to prevent teleport loops.

Color Themes

Each portal can have its own color. Every particle layer shifts to match:

Permissions

• Per-portal allow/deny lists — Control exactly who can enter each portal
• Admin bypass — Players with sololevelingportals.bypass can enter any portal
• Silent deny mode — Optionally hide the "access denied" message in chat

Entity Handling

• Mounts (horses, pigs, etc.) teleport with their rider
• Entity stacks are handled correctly — unpermitted passengers get ejected and left behind
• The permitted driver + mount teleport while denied riders stay at the portal

Configuration

• Per-portal dimensions — Width, height, and particle density
• Global defaults — Set default size for new portals in config.yml
• Optional coordinates — Create portals at your location or at specific x/y/z coords
• Hot reload — Reload config without restarting the server

All commands support full tab completion with context-aware suggestions.
