Use Your Own Skin as a Totem!

Turn your current Minecraft skin into a Totem of Undying!

This resource pack replaces the Totem of Undying texture with your own skin, allowing you to use your character as a totem while keeping the rest of Minecraft unchanged.

📦 How to Use

1. Get your skin file

Download your current Minecraft skin as a PNG file.

Make sure you use the wide / Classic model skin.

Important: The Slim / Alex model is not supported.

2. Open the resource pack

Download and extract the ZIP file.

Inside the extracted folder, navigate to:

assets/minecraft/textures/item/

You should find a file named:

totem.png

3. Replace `totem.png`

Take your skin PNG file and place it in the item folder.

Delete the original totem.png and rename your skin file to exactly:

totem.png

The final file structure must look like this:

assets/
└── minecraft/
    └── textures/
        └── item/
            └── totem.png

4. Use the resource pack

Re-zip the resource pack if necessary, then place it in your Minecraft resourcepacks folder and enable it in-game.

Now, whenever you hold or use a Totem of Undying, your Minecraft skin will appear instead!

⚠️ Important Notes

The skin file must be a PNG.
The file name must be exactly totem.png.
Make sure it is located at: assets/minecraft/textures/item/totem.png
Use the wide / Classic skin model, not the Slim / Alex model.
Do not change the folder structure, or Minecraft may not load the texture correctly.
If the texture does not appear, check the file name, file extension, folder path, and skin model first.

That's it — replace one texture with your skin and turn your Totem of Undying into your own character.
