This Resourcepack decorates your HUD (Heads Up Display) with various Pride flags for Pride Month - or any other time, after all "Pride is for life not just for June."
This Project mainly retextures the Hotbar & Potion Effect icons, with a couple other small things:
Twelve effects have been pride-ified in this Resourcepack:
- Regeneration, Levitation, Instant Health & Instant Damage are all versions of Progress Pride or Gay Pride flags, the latter two use a Heart texture from Vanilla Tweaks.
- The Water Breathing effect represents Intersex given the circular nature of the bubbles, same goes for the the player's oxygen meter.
- The Saturation effect has been changed to Bicecream like the Hunger Haunches. & the Hunger effect to Pansexual.
- Non-Binary Absorption effect & golden hearts.
- The Resistance effect is Two-Spirit, the texture has been upscaled to accommodate the double feather symbol.
- The Glowing effect represents Bi-gender.
- Demigender, Demiboy & Demigirl flags adorn the three hearts of the Health Boost effect.
- & In a fitting fashion, the Fire Resistance effect is Drag Pride.
Health, Hunger & Armour bars etc.
Ah, the Health Bar, the many (ahem, five) variations of the Health Bar; the default hearts are Progress Pride flags, as mentioned before Absorption Hearts are Non-Binary flags, freezing hearts are Transgender flags, poison hearts are Genderqueer flags & wither hearts are Asexual flags. Vehicle hearts (shown when riding a horse or nautilus) are Ally flags. All these heart textures are from Vanilla Tweaks.
The Armour bar is decorated with the blue, pink & white livery of the Transgender flag.
The Hunger bar has Bisexual flags in the form of Bicecreams. When under the Hunger effect these are instead Pansexual flags.
The bubbles of the Oxygen meter are Intersex flags.
The Heart particle seen when taming or breeding animals has also been retextured to Vanilla Tweaks' "Pride" heart texture.
There are extra flags replacing some of the Standard Galactic Aphabet particles that float between bookshelves & an Enchanting Table. (This doesn't change the text inside the Enchanting Table Gui.)
This Project was inspired by Amare's Pride Hearts resoucepack on Planet Minecraft & uses some LGBTQ+ Heart textures from Vanilla Tweaks.
