Note: This pack has additional funtionality with Polytone installed, such as custom foliage, fog, terrain, sky, and water colormaps. Polytone is NOT required for 99% of this pack to function.
Inspired by incredible works such as Palettized Programmer Art by TheRealDarkBum, Recrafted by MR_CHOO, Vintage Story, and others, Dark Cottagecore aims to transform the scattered and abstract Minecraft into a single, consistently themed experience.

What you can expect from this pack (currently):
- a light touch of dark fantasy added to your world
- animated foliage across the overworld
- new levels of color and depth
- seasonally themed biomes (If Polytone is installed)
- simplistic, yet smooth textures
- various basic QOL features
What you can expect in the future:
- at minimum, a complete overhaul of the overworld and its creatures
- basic building blocks
- nether overhaul
- tools & armor
- mod support
- resource pack support as addons(e.g. fresh animations)
What you can not expect, and will not be added:
- bushy leaves (maybe as a separate pack in the future)
- any features that require mods to work (besides colormaps)
- changes to fog in general
- resolutions higher than 16x
- respackopts options (subpacks will be consistently uploaded as separate projects)
- building block palettes that are extremely different from vanilla
- features that do not work with Sodium, Nvidium, Distant Horizons, Voxy, etc
