Monster Polish is a resource pack that tweaks or entirely redoes many textures and models for hostile mobs. Whether that is to fix pixel inconsistencies, tweak assets to be more in-line with modern Minecraft, or just outright remake outdated textures; this resource pack is guaranteed to give classic mobs a fresh coat of exquisite paint, and to satisfy a want for nicer looking monsters!
Features!
- Zombie retextures and tweaks! The base zombie texture (and model) has been tweaked to look more like the new retextures for the default Steve skin; and, a new alternative variant for the zombie model that looks like Alex can also appear. Husks have also gotten mild texture tweaks and a new model that makes them pixel consistent.
- Skeleton retextures and tweaks! The base skeleton texture has been tweaked to look more yellowed and old, with a shiny part on the forehead to give it some flair! The wither skeleton texture has been tweaked to be more in-line with the base skeleton, and a new model has been made for it to make it pixel consistent and broad. (Thus it's more stocky look.)
- Complete slime & magma cube overhaul! The slime model and texture has been completely changed to scale based on the slime size (not only does it fix pixel inconsistencies, it also looks rad)! The eyes and mouth cubes have also been swapped out for a single plane (reducing thick bits and generally looking nicer). Same is also applied for the magma cube!
- Complete creeper retexture! I always thought the creeper could look more grassy and mossy, so I made it more grassy and mossy! (Do I have to sugarcoat this?)
- Complete silverfish & endermite overhaul! Due to how the textures and models are not very readable for them, they have been given remodels and retextures to make them look more bug-like! Silverfish now actually look like real-life silverfish, and endermites have a more grubby look.
