A patch that restores the old torch model from versions before Minecraft Java Edition 1.8+ and from Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
It currently supports versions 1.21–1.21.1 but in the future it will support 1.9–1.21.5, 1.21.6–1.21.10 and 1.21.11+.
Support your texture packs with these models.
In the path .../textures/block/example, there is a .png image. You need to insert your texture into it and resize it to fit this texture using common image editing software. Then you must tilt (not rotate) the texture by 22.5 degrees. Take any ...side.png texture and replace those textures with your own.
If you have a more customized torch model just go to Blockbench and open the torch .json files.
