Overview
RAoM is a silly modpack made for a private server that gets updated basically whenever server members have suggestions. It adds new incentive for exploration, progression, and more (Dragons!). The main goal in making the base modpack was to create a fun environment where everybody could go the "route" they wanted, with many possibilities like medieval, magic, futuristic, steampunk, or a combination.

Combat
New weapons from Simply Swords and other mods, cool dragons from Ice and Fire (community edition), magic from Iron's Spells and Spellbooks, and cooler combat with dash amulets being added (running gameplay :D.)
Exploration
More structures and biomes with many of Yungnickyoung's structure upgrades, Towns and Towers, Terralith, Biomes O' Plenty, and Nullscape.
Special structures from Iron's Spells and Spellbooks and Alex's caves add more challenges to face.
To save from the boring walking phase, there's the Immersive Aircraft mod for earlier game exploration, though do be warned that chunk loading on an aircraft can be intense on a lower end server.
THE MOD "EXPLORER'S COMPASS" IS INCLUDED (locates structures through an easy to craft compass), I DEF KNOW SOME PEOPLE WOULD PREFER REMOVING IT
Creation? Building? Fun stuff
With Create, Create Aeronautics, and a wider selection of building blocks with mods such as Chipped, creations like massive airships complete with docking systems, elevators, and over the top fans for elevation are possible.
