Pure FPS

Overview

This modpack is designed to maximize Minecraft performance while keeping the game looking and feeling like vanilla. It includes a carefully selected set of optimization mods for Fabric that improve FPS, reduce lag, and make gameplay smoother without changing core mechanics.

All performance settings are already configured, so you can simply download the pack and start playing immediately with optimized graphics and improved performance.

Performance Focus

This modpack is built specifically to push Minecraft performance as far as possible while maintaining the vanilla experience. Every included mod has been selected for stability, compatibility, and real performance improvements.

The goal is simple: higher FPS, smoother gameplay, and better visuals without changing how Minecraft feels.

Included Shaders

This modpack includes two preconfigured shaders designed to balance visuals and performance.

• Complementary Reimagined — best balance between visuals and FPS
• BSL Shaders — cinematic lighting and atmosphere

Both shaders have already been configured with optimized settings to provide great visuals while maintaining smooth performance.

You can switch between the shaders depending on your system and performance preference.

Optional Extended Rendering (Voxy)

This modpack also includes Voxy, which allows extremely far terrain rendering for a more immersive world view.

Voxy is disabled by default to ensure maximum FPS, but it has already been fully configured with optimized settings.

To enable Voxy:

Options → Video Settings → Scroll down to Voxy → Enable

Once enabled, it will use the preconfigured settings designed to provide the best balance between performance and long-distance terrain rendering.

Additional Features

This modpack also includes a few optional quality-of-life features that are disabled by default to maintain maximum FPS and a vanilla feel. These can be enabled at any time based on your preference.

Built-in Features

• Zoom (C) — Toggle zoom functionality for better visibility at a distance
• SpeedFOVLimiter — Limits FOV changes while moving
  Disabled by default — Enable in: Pause Menu → Mods → SpeedFOVLimiter

QOL Mods

These mods are included and can be enabled with a keybind or are enabled and can be removed easily if you dont want them:

• AutoSwitch (O) — Automatically switches to the correct tool
• Auto Run (=) — Toggle automatic forward movement
• AppleSkin — Adds useful food and hunger HUD information
• Lighty (F7) — Displays light levels to help prevent mob spawns
• Boat Item View — Allows you to see held items while in a moving boat
• BoatView360 — Removes the rotation limit for full 360° camera movement in boats

Recommended Launcher Settings

To get the best performance with Pure FPS, it is recommended to adjust your memory and Java settings after installing the modpack. These settings are optional, but applying them can help achieve smoother gameplay and the best possible performance.

Memory Allocation

1. Download and install the modpack.
2. Click on the modpack in your launcher.
3. Open Settings.
4. Go to Java and Memory.
5. Enable Custom Memory Allocation.
6. Set the memory allocation to: 6144 MB

Java Arguments

Enable Custom Java Arguments and paste the following:

These settings improve memory management, reduce stuttering, and help provide smoother gameplay with higher FPS.

Recommended Java Version

Pure FPS is designed to run on Java 21, which is included automatically in most modern Minecraft launchers.
