All of it: the sounds, the animations, the particles, the connected textures, the distant horizons — working together, tested for compatibility.

Sodium — rendering engine replacement, massive FPS gains
Lithium — server-side optimisations: AI, physics, chunk loading
Entity Culling — stops rendering entities you can't see
Immediately Fast — speeds up text and UI rendering
Noisium Forked — faster world generation and chunk loading
Iris Shaders — shader support without Optifine
Mod Menu — in-game mod list
Resourcify — browse and install resource packs in-game

Visuals

Photon / Complementary Shaders — two great options; Complementary for warmth, Photon for drama. Pick one.
Distant Horizons — LOD rendering far beyond your normal render distance. The horizon actually looks like a horizon.
Hold My Items — better offhand item visibility
Swinging Lanterns — placed lanterns actually swing

Atmosphere & sound

Atmosphera — environmental audio: wind, cave reverb, birdsong
Sounds — additional ambient sound events
The Immersive Music Mod — biome-specific music that actually fits
Gentler Weather Sounds [RP] — smoother rain audio transitions
Drip Sounds — water dripping in caves
Make Bubbles Pop — bubble column sounds
Presence Footsteps — surface-specific footstep audio
Subtle Effects — screen vignette and tilt when hurt or low on health
Visuality — extra particle details throughout the world

Items marked [RP] are resource packs, not mods. Install them in your resource pack folder and enable them in-game via the Resource Packs menu or Resourcify.
