The world can get really flat sometimes SO why want you build a city on it with MineColonies, make the plains into your city
few honorable mentions are simple mods like Just Hammers let you mine with better effecincy. Immersive Aircraft, Immersive Machinery, Small Ships. The world is bigger so you need better transportion.
