The purpose of Smolder's Ultimatum is to provide an overall enhanced user experience and make Minecraft more satisfying.
Performance & Optimization
Vanilla Minecraft runs decently, but it lacks the optimization found in most modpacks. Not only does Smolder's Ultimatum cover the optimization mods seen in modpacks like Fabulously Optimized, it goes above and beyond with attempts to micro-optimize every aspect of the game to provide the smoothest gameplay.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks
While some packs shift their focus away from small fixes and quirks, I've found that they add up to create the feeling that the game is abiding by what the user intended. The mods add new features to discover, giving Minecraft near endless possibilities. It's also worth mentioning that many fixes to official bugs have been implemented through Debugify and other mods that fix specific bugs.
Punchy!
Smolder's Ultimatum lends its greatness to a popular mod by the name of Punchy! that makes Minecraft feel more alive and adds fluidity to pretty much every part of the game. With Punchy! and the other mods, the user can fully immerse themselves in the game.
Complementary Shaders
Complementary Shaders are known to make Minecraft look wonderful while bringing the player some nostlagia. Not only does Smolder's Ultimatum come with Complementary Reimagined, it also comes with Euphoria Patches to add even more features making for a complete visual overhaul.
Releases
Releases for newer versions will come as soon as a version of ViaFabricPlus is made available for them. Since ViaFabricPlus allows connecting to any server version, it is the only requirement for upgrading the pack. The current version is 26.2, the latest version of the game.
