Welcome Above the Clouds !
Create: Above the Clouds is a sky island survival pack built for engineers and pilots. The world is made of custom floating islands, and your goal is to conquer the skies using airships. By combining the Create mod with Create: Aeronautics, you can build real, moving flying machines to travel between islands and transport your items.
You will start isolated on a single island where you must build factory machines, windmills, and automatic assembly lines. As you progress, you can design and fly your own custom airships, ranging from small scouting planes to massive moving factories that use real physics. The world generation is highly customized.
You will explore a broken world where people live on floating islands high in the sky. Below them is a thick layer of clouds that hides everything underneath. Above the clouds, it is calm and bright. Inside the clouds, visibility is low and everything feels unknown. Below the clouds is a ruined world where it always rains and storms never stop. The land is covered in ash, lava, and broken terrain from an ancient disaster. The deeper you go, the more dangerous and harsh the world becomes, but the resources became more valuable.
